SW 12 Fields of Social Work (Lecture) 3.0 3L Fields of Social Work explores various settings and populations social workers engage with, including vulnerable groups, communities, and organizations. It examines roles and functions in working with various client systems, issues, and concerns of social welfare agencies, enabling students to understand social work practice complexities.
SWP5 SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE WITH COMMUNITIES(Lecture) 3.0 3L The course will provide knowledge on community organizing and community-based social work practice: theories, principles, models, skills, and trends in community organizing: strategies in awareness raising, and community mobilization focusing on social entrepreneurship, advocacy and networking, and corporate social responsibility.
SW11 Knowledge and Philosophical Foundation of Social Work (Lecture) 3.0 3L Generalist Perspective; History, philosophy, values, principles, and ethics with special reference to the profession's global, regional and national standards, social work code of ethics; knowledge base/ foundations of social work e.g.. human behavior and social environment, social work practice including adaptation to cross-cultural settings, and social welfare policies, programs and services.
